Aquascape Techniques as an Alternative Livelihood During the COVID-19 Pandemic in Percut Sei Tuan Village

Percut Village is one of the villages located on East Coast North Sumatra which directly opposite waters Malacca Strait so that main livelihood villagers as fishermen. During pandemic, government has implemented a Large Scale Social Restriction policy an impact social status community, such limited fishing activities have resulted in decrease selling price caught fish. In addition, silting sedimentation 2020 tides and coastline becoming unclear fishermen could not go to sea optimally. Based these considerations, knowledge dissemination training techniques for creating aquascapes been carried out groups young July – September 2021 Village, Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency, Province, Province. The results this activity positive community increase creativity enrich soft skills by applying gained start entrepreneur alternative youth they are able compete midst society can create jobs.
